integrate divi and calendly

One of the most important things you can have on your website as a service based business owner is a scheduler. You want to make it REALLY easy for people to schedule a call with you. The more effort someone has to put in to schedule time to chat with you, the less likely they will be to actually schedule the call.

There are a bunch of scheduling tools out there but my favorite is Calendly. Calendly has a super easy to use interface and also has a ton of amazing features.

My favorite calendly features

  • Hosts one-on-one and group calls
  • Allows you to set daily limits on the number of meetings you have so you never have to worry about having 20 meetings in a single day
  • Provides buffer times of your choice between meetings so you never have back-to-back meetings
  • Integrates with your Google account and reads your calendar so you never have to worry about being double booked
  • Sends confirmation and reminder emails to your meeting attendees (plus, you can customize these!)
  • Detects the time zone each participant is in so there’s no confusion on what time the meeting is at
  • Takes payments so you can charge for service based meetings with ease
  • Embeds into your website!!

benefits of embedding calendly into your website

Potential leads stay on your website

Almost everyone knows that you can link any URL on a website as a button or text link. But adding Calendly to your website using the URL means your potential lead is being taken off your website. Whenever possible, it’s best to keep people on your website because it increases their chances of browsing more of your amazing content.

Embedding Calendly into your website actually keeps people on your site. I’ll show you how below!

More accessible

One of the embed options Calendly has adds a schedule button to every single page on your website. This means people can schedule a call with you regardless of where they are on your site.

Maybe they started on your services page, decided they wanted to schedule a call but then got distracted by one of your amazing blog posts. If there isn’t a link on that blog post that allows them to schedule a time to chat with you, they may forget to. But, if Calendly is embedded on every page they would be able to schedule a call directly from your blog post page.

Cha-ching!

How to Integrate Divi and Calendly

So how exactly can you integrate Divi and Calendly? Let me walk you through a few different ways!

As a Button

The most well-known way to link to any web page, Calendly included, is by adding a button.

  1. Add the button module
  2. Update the button text to “SCHEDULE A CALL” or “LET’S CHAT” (basically, something that is easy to understand so your visitors know exactly what the button does. Less confusion = more sales calls!)
  3. In a separate browser tab, log into your Calendly account
  4. Look along the top of the page and locate your logo and Calendly URL
  5. Click the Calendly URL to expand a new menu of options
  6. Click the Share Your Link option
  7. Locate where it says Copy Your Link and click the paperclip to copy link
  8. Back in Divi, paste the link you just copied in the Link field

Linking to Individual Event Types

Sometimes it’s beneficial to link directly to a specific event instead of your main Calendly page. I link directly to my web design consultation event on my services page because it makes the most sense.

To do this, log into your Calendly account and go to Event Types. Next to the Event Type of your choice click the gear to see more options. Click Copy Link to link to the Event using a button or click Embed to link to the Event using the other three options.

It’s as easy as that to integrate Calendly and Divi!
